Halong Exploration with Indochina Sails 2 Days 1 Night


Each of Indochina Sails boat features spacious, well- appointed cabins and suites with large en-suite bathrooms, a large sundeck with comfortable lounging furniture and an elegant dining room and bar. They have designed and fitted their boats to international standards while maintainning traditional styling, creating the perfect balance of mordern comforts and nostalgic ambiance.


Indochina boats are built in Vietnam, utilizing local marterial and the handiwork of skilled craftsmen and artists. The wood featured in the interior is called"go huong" as aromatic wood, it is a highly durable and beautifully arained wood which adds to the rich and warm character of the boats. Whichever of Indochina boats you sails on they make your journey special right from the start by providing our own private pier to embark from.


Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Noi – Ha Long (-/L/D)

Depart at 8 a.m. Enjoy 3 hours drive to Ha Long where along the way you will see rice fields and daily Vietnamese village life. You will then be transferred by tender to a luxuryJunk and enjoy a welcome cocktail. A lunch with fresh local seafood will be served on board while you embark on a cruise into the bay to see the incredible karst formations. We will visit Cua Van floating fishing village, then return to the boat to cruise to Titop beach. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. A fresh dinner is served on board. Overnight on the boat.


Day 2: Ha Long – Ha Noi (B)

At leisure or enjoy Tai Chi instruction and sunrise on the sundeck. Depart by boat to Surprise Cave. A buffet breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m to 10 a.m. We will then start cruising in Halong Bay while you relax and take pictures. Depart to Bai Chay, arrive at Halong pier about a.m. Back to Ha Noi around 4 p.m. Trip ends.

Q: Do you have life jackets on boat?

Yes, that is one requirement for any boat/junk in Halong Bay.If you do not see this when boarding the junk, please ask for the instruction from the crew member or our captain.

Q: Can we travel from Hai Phong to Ha Long Bay?

Yes, you can! If you are already there in Hai Phong, you can call us to have a car and guide pick you up from there and drive to Halong , which should be less than 1,5 hours.


Q: What about seasick on boat?
If you look on Vietnam map, you will see Ha Long lies on the Tonkin Gulf with lots of island that made up Ha Long Bay. With its calm water, Ha Long Bay really acts as a shield that stops all of violent wave, so it’s hard to get sea sick in Ha Long Bay.


Q: Are there non-smoking areas on cruises?
Virtually all ships have smoking and non-smoking sections in the public rooms. In fact, many dining rooms, and even some entire ships, are now totally smoke-free, reflecting passenger requests. If you want your dining table in a non-smoking area, please advise the restaurant manager when boarding.


Q: Are there laundry services on board?
Most cruise ships have laundry facilities and many provide dry-cleaning services. There is, however, an additional charge for professional laundry and dry-cleaning services. Many ships also have self-service launderettes

Q: Where is BaiTu Long Bay?

Located in Gulf of Tonkin, BaiTu Long Bay includes a wide eastern part of Ha long Bay, Van Don and Cam Pha district. There is also BaiTu Long Bay National park with biological diversity. Occupying three-quarters of the Ha Long Bay area towards eastern part, BaiTu Long Bay is one of the three triangular peaks of the World Natural Heritage. Indochina Junk is proud to be the first and only company to have luxury boats that take tourists to BaiTu Long Bay area. Being a part of Ha long Bay – the World Heritage site, BaiTu Long Bay has similar marvelous landscape as its sister – Ha long Bay. Until now, BaiTu Long Bay still remains unexplored in wide area.
